Nate Stacy #14

History

Growing up in Owasso Oklahoma, Nate was surrounded by the “car culture”. His grandfather owned and operated a paint and body shop and his Dad Mike was racing his Shelby in the “American Iron” series in Texas. Sitting on the sidelines watching his Dad race wasn’t easy for Nate and he soon started asking when he could start racing like his Dad.

At the age of 12 he started racing a Spec Miata in the Comma Series claiming 6 wins and 8 top fives to finish first overall in points, becoming the youngest driver to win the championship. During this same year, he also competed in the NASA Pro Series in Texas taking 2 wins and 5 top fives finishing 7th in the region.

In 2014, Nate moved to the Pirelli World Challenge, fielding a Ford Fiesta in the Touring Car/ Spec B class. In the 14 race season he finished second overall in drive’s points (1265) with a dominating win a Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and 7 other podium finishes throughout the season.

In 2015 he moved up to Touring Class.  Mid-season he was invited to join Rehagen Racing and pilot a Mustang Boss 302s in the GTS class. In the remainder of the season, he had several top 10 finishes that assisted Ford Performance in winning a manufacturers' championship.

In January of 2016 Nate was named as the newest Roush Performance driver and will be piloting a Mustang Boss 302 again in the Pirelli World Challenge.

Between races Nate is immersed in his studies as a “freshman” with a 3.67 GPA. He also trains daily, enjoys cycling, motocross, archery, target shooting, hunting, travel, and guitar. He is also part of the Switch Youth group@LifeChurch.TV and Owasso Community Resources
